Eartha Kitt (1927-2008) was the voice of Vexus (who was replaced by Cree Summer in "Around the World in Eighty Pieces").

She passed away at age 81 during Christmas of 2008.

She also voiced Yzma from The Emperor's New Groove and The Emperor's New School. She is also renowned for playing Catwoman in the third and final season of the classic Batman televison show.
