Attack of the 5½ Ft. Geek is the first half of the third episode of season 1.

Synopsis[]
When Jenny saves the local school geek Sheldon Lee from a gang of bullies, he quickly becomes her new best friend, and is positively smitten with her. Unfortunately, his desperate attempts at asking Jenny on a date get in the way of her crime fighting.
Plot[]
Sheldon Meets Jenny[]
Attack of the 5½ Ft. Geek (2002) begins as Sheldon is in science class, in the middle of making an all-alloy figure of the robot superhero, Captain Crush, for an upcoming competition. He laments the fact that it cannot fly, when suddenly three bullies grab him and force him into handing over the shop project they forced him to make for them. They then begin to rough him up and toss him around, also threatening to destroy his Captain Crush figure.
Meanwhile, the science teacher goes over Jenny's knee, and she explains that she has a loose bolt in her arm. Being a robot, the nurse thought it was necessary to send her to the science classroom. The science teacher suggests that Sheldon can help. As Jenny asks to speak to Sheldon from one of the bullies tormenting him, they don't listen to her. Upset to see that Sheldon is being mercilessly bullied, she grabs the Captain Crush figure they were throwing around, grabs onto Sheldon and saves him, then beats up the bullies. Sheldon is impressed and deeply touched, and is instantly enamored of Jenny.
Jenny greets Sheldon and asks him for help, showing him the loose bolt in her arm. He effortlessly fixes her loose bolt, but is in complete lovestruck awe of her. Jenny awkwardly leaves as he refuses to let go of her hand.
Jenny's Got a Boyfriend[]
As she flies away, Sheldon quickly catches up and asks to walk her to class. Jenny agrees, but while walking through the hallway with Sheldon fawning over her, she notices many of the students beginning to tease her. Again, she runs away from Sheldon until she arrives in her class, suddenly noticing him in the seat ahead of her. He mentions how he never got to thank her, and continues to fawn over and gaze lovingly at her, causing the entire class to laugh at them and chant, "Jenny's got a boyfriend!" Extremely embarrassed, Jenny hides behind her book until the class bell rings.
At the end of the day, Jenny cautiously attempts to sneak out, but bumps into Sheldon at her locker. He asks if she wants to hang out, when suddenly Jenny's alarm goes off and Dr. Wakeman appears on Jenny's screen. Dr. Wakeman notices Sheldon there and "approves" of him, also thinking he is Jenny's new boyfriend, much to Jenny's embarrassment. Before Jenny can explain, Dr. Wakeman alerts her that the Lonely Hearts Gang is up to no good in Tremorton, and Jenny hastily blasts off to stop them (and to get away from Sheldon's ceaseless and embarrassing admiration).
The Lonely Hearts Club[]
Meanwhile in town, the Lonely Hearts Club Gang is tossing Candy Heart Bombs, decorating the area where they land, including traffic lights, causing a traffic jam at a busy intersection. Seeing Jenny arrive, they begin to throw the bombs at her. She attempts to stop their vandalism, but suddenly Sheldon appears once again, interrupting her. This time he offers to give her an invention he has made in order to help her, then proceeds to ask her out on a date. Accidentally, he then captures the both of them in his invention's net deployment system, and the Lonely Hearts run away to ruin a suit store. Jenny tries once again to pursue them, when Sheldon then offers her an array of gadgets: a Paralyzing Beam, jet-powered roller-skates, a sound cannon, and an anti-stumble machine. This accidentally paralyzes Jenny, launching her into the air.
As Jenny is temporarily incapacitated, the Lonely Hearts kidnap Sheldon and take him to their warehouse. They tie him onto a "love wheel", threatening to throw him through a machine, into a vat of boiling hot chocolate, or suffer a "very nasty paper-cut". Jenny shows up to help Sheldon just as the leader calls Sheldon her boyfriend. Noticing her entry, the gang uses a powerful electromagnet to trap her. Fed up with people thinking Sheldon is her boyfriend, Jenny screams in frustration and declares that Sheldon means nothing to her, also insulting him hurtfully. This breaks Sheldon's heart, and the Lonely Hearts, understanding his pain, release him and commiserate with him, instead allowing him to join their group once he graduates.
Sheldon Saves the Day[]
Enraged at Jenny for breaking Sheldon's heart, the Lonely Hearts Gang come at her with blowtorches to destroy her. Jenny is completely unable to move to defend herself, but before they can harm her, Sheldon uses his beloved Captain Crush robot figure to save Jenny's life by pounding and defeating the bad guys with it (sacrificing it in the process). He then releases Jenny, but runs away in tears before she can thank him. Jenny then realizes how sweet Sheldon is, thankful for him saving her life, and feeling terrible and guilty about hurting his feelings.
Back at Sheldon's home that evening, as he is crying in his room, Jenny shows up at his window with the now fixed and flying Captain Crush figure. Sheldon is elated, and Jenny explains she had her mom put an anti-gravity device in it. She goes on to apologize, and tells Sheldon that she wants to be friends with him. Sheldon elatedly agrees to this, hovering in mid-air with utmost happiness beside Jenny as the episode ends.
